| Description: | Established in 1977, Wheels Inc. had outgrown its old store in South Fargo 15 years ago. So Wayne did what he should have done years ago, he built a new store in a new location. Buying land along Interstate I-29, he found the best builder in the area. After contacting Polaris Industries for their input, and independent store design consultant, Barb Miller, they created not just a store, but a modern powersports destination. The new store opened November 1, 2004. The two-story building has 30,000 sq. ft. It features a 10,000 sq. ft. new vehicle showroom, and a 2,500 sq. ft. pre-owned vehicle showroom. An indoor drive thru bay provides customers a heated and protected area for picking up new machines and dropping off vehicles for service or trades. "Customers love the drive-thru, especially in winter," says Hartmann. |
