| Description: | NESCO started in 1950 as Northern Engine Supply Co. founded by "Poor John" Houston in downtown Gouverneur, NY and moved to the present location south of the village in 1956. Yamaha was added in 1971. In 1985 Poor John retired and sold NESCO to Mike and Sue Perrigo of Gouverneur. Arctic Cat was added in 1992. In 1996, Mike and Sue sold the business to current owners Mark & Lori Miller of Carthage, NY. NESCO continued to expand as New England Sports Co. and in 2000 became a ,World Class Arctic Cat Dealer and also received the Dealer of the Year award. |
