| Description: | Hitching Post Motorsports was founded in 1969 in a small store on University Avenue in St. Paul by owner, Rick Rosoff. In his 25 years in the motorsports business, Rick and his team grew the original University Avenue location and eventually added 2 more locations. One in So. St. Paul, and one in Hopkins. After nearly 30 years in the business, Rick passed away, and his wife, Sheri Rosoff continued on at the helm. In the decade since Rick's passing, Hitching Post Motorsports has grown and continued to keep it's stores and products at the front edge of the industry. Recent store developments include: In 2000, the original University Avenue store in St. Paul relocated to a new, larger showroom in St. Anthony Village. In 2004, Hitching Post Motorsports added a 4th store in Coon Rapids, MN with the purchase of Excel Motorsports. After serving it’s local market for 5 years, the St. Anthony Village store relocated to a new showroom in Fridley to better meet the motor sports needs of enthusiasts. |
